The majesty of the Arabian horse is dramatically exhibited in liberty classes, and HorseShow.com proudly announces the addition of this unique breed showcase to its annual on-line competition calendar with the inaugural $3,500 Arabian Liberty Fall Classic.
The Arabian Liberty Fall Classic, open to purebred Arabians of all ages, will celebrate the breed's natural beauty. Horses will be judged on Arabian type; charisma; presence and style; quality and conformation; gaits; and the suitability of horse's movement to the chosen music, all while performing free of halter, bridle, saddle, or rider. Entries will be competing online for a chance to win a total of $3,500 in prize money, with $2,500 awarded to the Champion and $1,000 to Reserve.
"No other event spotlights the true brilliance and spirit of the Arabian breed like a liberty class," said Jeff Sloan, CEO of HorseShow.com and long-time Arabian breeder. "The music, audience participation, and beautiful horses showing off for the crowd all combine to make liberty classes the highlight of any competition, so we're thrilled to now offer this opportunity on HorseShow.com."
To enter, simply sign up for a free HorseShow.com membership, create your horse's profile, and upload a video of your purebred Arabian’s liberty performance directly from your computer or linked from YouTube. For only a $15.00 entry fee, all entries will be reviewed by renowned USEF official Karen Homer-Brown for a chance to win part of the $3,500 purse. In addition to prizes, exhibitors will be able to use this unique online competition experience as a way to learn from the industry’s top judges: following the judging of the class, Homer-Brown will provide a confidential scorecard with comments, e-mailed directly to each entry, indicating why she placed the class as she did, as well as specific comments about each horse’s performance.
Don't miss this chance to be part of the inaugural Arabian Liberty Fall Classic show and make your own mark on horse showing history. Entries are now being accepted, but will close on December 11th!
